Las Galeras is a small fisher village, located in Dominican Republic, in the province of Samana. The is the perfect place for nature lovers and to relax on the rythm of dominican way of life.

25 years ago, Las Galeras could not be found on any maps. A few fishermen and farmers were exploiting the natural resources of the area. Then, during the Balaguer's years, they built the road from Samana to Las Galeras and the development arrived.

Nowadays, Las Galeras is a destination that offers everything to spend good holidays far from the mass tourism.

From Santo Domingo or Puerto Plata:

By small plane the price is US$ 118 per person (two people plus luggage) or US$ 78 if more than 3 people in the group (from Sto Domingo) The taxi from the Smana airport to the hotel costs US$ 35.

By taxi from Puerto Plata, the price is US$ 125 for the trip (1 - 4 people), and from Santo Domingo, the price is US$ 140.

By public air-conditioned bus the price is US$ 7 per person both from Santo Domingo and from Puerto Plata to Samana.

Guests arriving by public bus can be picked up in Samana and brought to the hotel for US$ 20 (per group of 1-4 people)
